2022 kicked off with a spike in volatility and sharp reversal in risk proxies, forcing traders to reevaluate their preconditioned strategies. This 5-part interactive webinar series is designed to teach professional traders how to adapt to the new volatility regime, marked by VUCA conditions (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity & Ambiguity). You will learn an introductory overview on key trading approaches; macro, fundamental and technical analysis. Learn about top professionals in each field, how they develop an edge, and what top beliefs shape their process. Most importantly, Ron will discuss what is useful about these beliefs and what is not. Alternative strategies will also be featured, as part of the VTI framework. This includes R-multiples, Expectancy, System Thinking, and a two-part overview of our new workshop on Scenario Planning!

Course Agenda & Learning Outcomes
What does volatility mean to you? Risk? Opportunity? Or Uncertainty? 2022 kicked off with a spike in volatility and sharp reversal in risk proxies, forcing traders to revaluate their preconditioned strategies. This interactive webinar series is designed to teach professional traders how to adapt to the new volatility regime, marked by VUCA conditions (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity & Ambiguity). You will learn how to harness a unique 3-step approach, based on resilience, divergent thinking, and scenario-planning. Resilience is part of a markets & mind approach. Markets, in terms of an ‘all-weather’ strategy, with active market timing and risk management overlays. Mind, meaning a greater awareness, reduced behavioural bias, and improved stress response management (SRM). Divergent thinking alludes to the market reality of probabilities, not certainties. Avoiding linear, one-way bets, while hedging out-liar black or white tail risks. Finally, scenario planning allows learning from past anomalies. “History doesn’t repeat, but often rhymes.” A brief review of key markets will also be featured, as part of a live assessment opportunity.
